24 HOURS. ONE COMMUNITY. THE MOVEMENT NEVER STOPS. THE DOORS DON’T CLOSE.
THE 24 HOUR ERG CHALLENGE:
Our goal is to keep one erg moving for the entire 24 hours!
Choose 15, 30 or 60 minutes and
help keep the erg moving.
WHY 24 HOURS?
Because stress, overwhelm and worry don’t operate according to business hours and support for one another shouldn’t either.
OPEN DOOR FOR 24 is
not 24 hours of hard exercise.
The 24 hours represent something bigger:
CONTINUITY. PRESENCE. COMMUNITY.
Across the full day and night, there will always be people moving, participating, talking, supporting or simply being present.
Some people will come for a class.
Others will stay for more.
Some will bring a team and own whole hour.
Some will stay late while others will arrive early.
Local businesses will have the opportunity to showcase what they do, support the event and connect with the community while we help direct people back to the businesses in our community, supporting this.
Some will volunteer, donate, provide food, prizes or services, or simply come through the doors and be part of it.
Nobody needs to participate for all 24 hours.
The aim is to create a continuous thread of people showing up for one another -
gym members, families, friends, local residents, businesses, sporting clubs, workplaces and community organisations.
NO ONE DOES IT ALONE.
Not in our community.
That principle sits at the centre of
OPEN DOOR FOR 24.
inFITnity is simply the host providing the space, coordinating the logistics and helping bring people together.
The event belongs to the wider community.
For 24 hours, the movement keeps going, nobody moves alone, and the doors don’t close.
THE 24-HOUR ERG CHALLENGE
Our goal is to keep one erg moving for the entire 24 hours!
From 6:30am Saturday to 6:30am Sunday, the erg does not stop.
This isn’t one person attempting a ridiculous endurance feat.
It’s many people;
Businesses, sporting clubs and family groups can take blocks.
Walking past? Come through the doors and give somebody two minutes off.
Overnight participants will carry it through the hardest hours before the Sunday morning crew brings it home.
NO ONE DOES IT ALONE.
Want to help keep it moving?
